HARAKOA MEMBERS’ HOUSE
Set high on hill above the Members’ Cottages, Harakoa is a wonderful open-plan house with great views from its enclosed outdoor lounge – with very similar interior materials and treatments as the Member Cottages and Ocean Suites, it very much has the Tara Iti feel. Harakoa is a four-bedroom home, but can be configured as a spacious two-bedroom accommodation, with the bedrooms at either end of the house, separated by kitchen, dining, lounge and outdoor lounge areas.
Note: Due to Tara Iti's policy, guests will handle all payments for golf, accommodation and incidentals directly upon departure.

Spread along 100 miles of New Zealand's coastline, the Marlborough Sounds is a collection of ancient sunken river valleys filled with the turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean. Forested hills rise steeply from the sea around an intricate coastline of sheltered inlets and sandy bays. The area has three main bodies of water: Queen Charlotte, Kenepuru and Pelorus Sounds. The Department of Conservation manages over 50 reserves in this scenic playground.

SPECIAL NOTICE FOR GOLFERS TRAVELING TO NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand's rural-based economy requires strict bio-security, so it is important for golfers to enter the country with clean golf shoes and clean golf clubs. Anyone arriving with golf clubs and/or golf shoes will be diverted to quarantine inspection upon arrival in New Zealand. With clean shoes, clubs, and golf bags/travel covers, the inspection time should simply be a matter of minutes. For golfers with traces of dirt or grass, bio-security staff may clean the items, and fines may be imposed on the spot. To ensure a speedy entrance, please ensure that clubs, shoes, golf bags, and travel covers are free from dirt and grass.
